The youth of Seton enjoyed tremendous success on the court this year. Our parish fielded a record 22 teams, providing an opportunity for more than 200 Seton children to experience a positive, character-building experience through the vehicle of sports. One aspect of this experience is that each of our 22 teams play in the highly competitive Westchester Putnam Catholic Youth Organization Basketball League. This year, a phenomenal 11 Seton teams qualified for the prestigious WPCYO League Championships. Our parish’s playoff teams are as follows: 3d Grade Girls A Div. (Coach Brown); 4th Grade Boys A Div. (Lugo); 4th Grade Girls A Div. (Mula); 4th Grade Girls C Div. (DeSouza); 5th Grade Boys A Div. (Delfico); 5th Grade Boys B Div. (Biele); 6th Grade Boys B Div. (Rivera); 7th Grade Boys B Div. (Marinelli); 7th Grade Boys C Div. (DeSouza); 7th Grade Girls B Div. (Brown); and 8th Grade Boys B Div. (Pavletich). Congratulations to the coaches, players and their families, and good luck in the playoffs!
