World Marriage Day will be celebrated at all the Masses next weekend. After the homily, married couples will be invited to renew their vows and receive a special blessing.
Philip John Dever of Troop 238 earned his Eagle Scout honor earlier this month. He used the Stations of the Cross from the convent to create an outdoor Way of the Cross between the church between the church and Lakeland High.
Cardinal Dolan received a call from Archbishop Roberto Gonzales of San Juan, Puerto Rico seeking assistance with earthquake relief. Please drop a check made out to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (MEMO: Puerto Rico Relief) in next week’s collection. We will send a parish check for the total collected before February 5th.
In keeping with the tradition, we will bless a representative number of candles for use in the church at the 9:30am Family Mass. Some of these candles will be used to give the blessing of throats on the Feast of Saint Blaise on February 3rd.

Our parishioner of 65 years, Elizabeth “Liz” Flannery, has been appointed as Grand Marshal of the 44th Annual Northern Westchester-Putnam St. Patrick’s Day Parade to be held on Sunday, March 8th at 2:00pm in Mahopac. Her Installation Dinner will take place on Friday, February 7th from 6:00-9:00pm at the Centennial Golf Club in Carmel. Cost is $40 per person. On Friday, January 24th, while our pilgrims are demonstrating and praying in Washington, DC at the annual March for Life, we will have two special periods of prayer for the unborn and an end to abortion in our nation. 2:00pm Seton School Rosary for Life 8:00-9:00pm Holy Hour for Life with Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction and a special Rosary for Life Come and pray with us!
